Kamen Rider Wizard in Magic Land

As usual Kamen Rider franchise have a summer movie, a custom that started with Kamen Rider Agito: Project G4 in 2001, Kamen Rider Wizard give us it's summer movie Kamen Rider Wizard in Magic Land which is shown alongside Kyoryuger Gaburincho of Music. So is this summer movie magically spectacular or is it a fail magic show??? Found out on my review of Kamen Rider Wizard in Magic Land.

Thought: This movie goes straight into action in the beginning then pulled you down with it's storyline and send you back up with it kick ass action scene. Just like it's title, this movie really did put a lot of magic element like flying carpet, magic as currency and a lot of mage, basicly this movie is like an open version of Harry Potter world, minus the secrecy of magical community, the magical school and the teenage kid vs evil wizard.

Pro: Lot of action, the fighting choreography is great to the point I had to admit Wizard has the best fighting choreography in the entire Kamen Rider franchise. Lot of drama like how Haruto and Koyomi tries to adapt to this new world, how Koyomi and Maaya felt as they are the only two person in this world that can't use magic or like Harry Potter fan called them, a Squib, well technically only Maaya is a Squib. The CGI I good, not great but good. The plot is great, especially the plot twist of Orma/Golden Wizard is a Phantom. The writer and the producer really outdid themselves since they manage to put some sub-plot like the fighting between Wizard/Beast and Medusa/Gremlin/Phoenix, while still maintain the main plot all in 1 hour 2 minute and 29 second.

Con: To much CGI, very bad opening and ending. Wizard and Beast took down the three main general of the series in 1 minute and 34 second. Some scene are seem to cliché, like when Koyomi is protecting Haruto from the angry crowd and get hit.

Overall: The movie was good, the plot is handle well, the action particularly is great and I just can't stop re-watching it. For this movie I give 8/10
